Often being the only women in the room full of male technologists, I see first-hand the importance of the UN's endeavours and in particular the WEPs. It should be common sense that we have a vision for Europe that free from violence and stereotypes against women. In 2024, we should take a leaf out of the Olympics rulebook where there is now gender parity in participation. Likewise, in knowledge transfer areas and my organisation’s hunt for storytellers, I am usually provided with a list of men who can tell a good story. Sadly, women are rarely suggested. The WEPs bring us back to a core truth: Women also have their stories to share!
