I am honored to reaffirm our commitment to the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs). Equality is central to our mission as a higher education institution. By supporting gender equality, we create a fair, inclusive environment and inspire future leaders to champion diversity. Our institution, formerly the Kyrias Institute, is Albania's oldest university, founded by Sevasti and Parashqevi Qiriazi a century ago. Their legacy underscores the importance of women's contributions to education and society, encapsulated by our motto: "An educated woman is the pillar of a nation." As a WEPs signatory, we join global efforts to advance women's leadership, promote equal opportunities, and foster inclusivity. At University College Qiriazi, we integrate these principles into all aspects of our operations to ensure women have equal access to education, leadership roles, and growth opportunities.
