As a strong global player in the fields of glass and chemicals we see sustainability as the focal point of our operations and a core component of our business model. We aim to “Protect the Planet”, “Empower Society”, “Transform Life” within the scope of our sustainability strategy CareforNext. Prioritizing equality and diversity in our value chain is one of the main objectives of our “Empower Society” pillar. We see gender equality as an integral part of our inclusive corporate culture. While we aim to undermine gender-based assignments and increase women's employment in every field with the practices we have implemented, we have set it as our priority to increase women's effectiveness at Şişecam's organizational structure with our “Women Expression” program. In line with our 2030 strategy, we also aim to increase our female employment rate to at least 25%. As a signatory of WEPs, we will keep emphasizing the importance of gender equality to all our ecosystem with every aspect and use our power to help make a difference.
