Diversity and inclusion is an active and continuous process to ensure that we respect and recognize all aspects of diversity and ensure people feel psychologically safe and valued for their talents, skills and abilities. We believe that diversity strengthens our decision-making and creates value for all stakeholders. Currently, 40% of independent directors identify as women; 29% of Senior Management identify as women and 29% identify as Racialized, Black, and/or People of Color. This year we have established targets to maintain and build on our progress to date: 30% women on the Board by 2025 and 30% diversity in Senior Management by 2025. We are joining the Women’s Empowerment Principles to further support the promotion of gender equality and women’s empowerment in the workplace and within our communities.
