To foster women's empowerment in an organization, there are many aspects that are important, like giving them a voice at the table, treating them on the basis of their qualifications and what they bring to the company, including them in discussions and decision-making, ensuring fair compensation and last but nor least, supporting family-friendly working policies and working schedules. Moreover, women in leadership positions will strengthen certain leadership skills which various studies attribute more to women, such as collaboration, empathy and the ability to build a team and relationships based on it, being direct and supportive. It complements and enriches the overall leadership effectiveness of an organization.
