Mengayu Indonesia is a social enterprise that offers job training and secure workspaces for women, empowering victims of violence to enhance their income and self-confidence. The inspiration for Mengayu Indonesia stemmed from the founder's friend, "Ayu," a woman from Jember Regency who faced challenges like violence in dating relationships, unwed pregnancy, attempted suicide, abortion, and unstable financial and mental situations. Established as a social enterprise in 2020, I am committed to making Mengayu Indonesia a safe workspace for vulnerable women, offering activities such as professional skills development, self-confidence building, and a secure co-working environment.
