Our commitment towards women and youth empowerment is unconditional, crucial and timely. We have decided to invest in women’s empowerment so we can collectively with our fellow private sector players set a path towards gender equality, alleviate poverty and build sustainable and inclusive economic growth. Empowering women is not an act of charity or a kind gesture; it is rather a belief in humanity that can only be preserved if both men and women are given equal chances in life at all levels. I am a son of a woman, a brother to a woman, a husband to a woman, a father to two little girls; and above all this, I am a proud colleague to many women.
