Responsibility is at the core of Kering’s values and culture. This is why we leverage the power of luxury to inspire and effect positive change. In 2010, I committed to the Women’s Empowerment Principles to advance gender equality and women's rights across our Group. This commitment led Kering in 2017 to establish clear targets, such as achieving gender parity and equal pay at all levels of the Group's hierarchy by 2025. Subsequent to our pledge, we've made significant progress, including the implementation of a global gender-neutral parental leave policy (the first in the luxury sector) and the launch of our Women in Luxury network, which connects women and male allies to support the professional progress and development of women. To meet our equal pay goal, the Group conducted a comprehensive global analysis in 2023, which revealed a 1.6% pay gap in favor of male employees. We promptly implemented targeted actions to close this gap and thus meet our commitment. Moreover, to further enhance our understanding of women's experiences at Kering, we established our Gender Listening Index in 2023. By actively listening to women, analyzing gaps between men and women’s experiences at work and monitoring progress, we're able to better understand where action is needed to ensure an increasingly inclusive environment for everyone. Our commitment to gender equality extends beyond our organization. Since 2008, the Kering Foundation has worked to combat violence against women around the world. In 2015, we also launched the Women In Motion program to highlight and challenge inequalities in the field of culture and the arts and to change perceptions.
