As Managing Partner of e-Mentor I fully support the WEPs. The right to work, equal pay, recognition of merit without prejudice and without gender discrimination, is fundamental to guaranteeing women's participation in the world of work. Economic independence is a barrier against violence and subjugation because it guarantees the freedom to choose. The Social Policy of e-Mentor has already adopted equal pay and combating all forms of discrimination as fundamental principles: "Any inequity that may undermine the right to equal pay for men and women performing the same tasks is prohibited. The right to equal opportunities must also be respected when hiring or resigning and in the case of promotion and training. Any form of discrimination, exclusion or preference based on race, sex, age, religion, political opinion, nationality or social class is forbidden".
