Women and men should have equal rights in every aspect of our lives. This equality should not be just a legal procedure. When this equality, which is a fundamental human right, is achieved, a healthy social structure will develop in many areas, including health, education, economy and general welfare. Hierarchical structures created on the basis of gender differences that lead to power differences must be terminated. Achieving gender equality in the workplace is important for employers not only because it is “fair” and “the right thing to do”, but also because it is linked to a country's overall economic performance. Ensuring gender equality in workplaces increases national productivity and economic growth. Organizational performance increases. Companies' chances of retaining talented employees increase. Corporate reputation will improve.
