Women constitute 48% of the total Indian population, however on gender equality India stands at 112th among 153 countries on the Global Gender Gap Index (2020). To bridge this gap and to maintain an economic parity it is imperative that women lead from the front and run the show. Irrespective of the industry, women should be encouraged and given a fair chance to break the notions of our heavily male-dominant corporate structure. While the Country's government continues to focus and work on it, as responsible corporate citizens each one of us has to believe and work towards gender equality. Companies have realized the importance of inclusiveness which women bring at workplace. We aim to bring in people from different backgrounds, viewpoints and characteristics together as that instils the feeling of being equitable and forges a long-term bond. A sustainable set of defined goals and a good mix of male-female workforce is what it takes for an organization to be dynamic yet a cohesive workplace.
