We are delighted to have reached a new stage in our efforts to ensure gender equality and women's empowerment in the workplace of the Borusan Otomotiv Group. In this context, we proudly sign the Women's Empowerment Principles, a joint initiative of UN Women and the UN Global Compact. The Women's Empowerment Principles represent a vision that we at Borusan Otomotiv Group already have and apply in terms of empowering women in the business world and supporting entrepreneurship, such as high-level corporate leadership for gender equality, justice for women and men in the workplace, respect for human rights principles, fighting discrimination, and supporting the health, safety, and welfare of all employees, as well as supporting women's education, training, and professional development opportunities. Therefore, it is precious for us to represent and implement this vision through the Women's Empowerment Principles. Today, we are proud to be signatories to new commitments, such as supporting advocacies for all of these issues through the Women's Empowerment Principles, promoting social entrepreneurship in this field, and reporting on the gains achieved. The Women's Empowerment Principles will undoubtedly guide us as Borusan Otomotiv Group in our future work and serve as our final destination.
